Networking with Colleagues
In years past we’ve offered an "Out-of-Towners" Reception for participants visiting us from far away. This informal get-together provided a space for participants outside of the New York City area to come together, meet and mingle, and discuss various topics in literacy instruction. As our institutes have grown, we’ve admitted more and more applicants from far away, so much so that our little courtyard in the middle of campus can no longer house the number of out-of-town participants. However, we recognize the value of these impromptu get-togethers and are available to help organize them.
If you are interested in meeting like-minded colleagues from your town, city, state/country, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to help you organize a meeting during the week of the institute.
