Teachers College WorkshopsEach year, the Reading and Writing Project offers a series of one-day workshops—formerly called "Calendar Conference Days"—for teachers and administrators. TCRWP workshops are held at Teachers College from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm and are designed to deepen your knowledge of the Units of Study in Reading and Writing.
Come learn from the authors of Units of Study in Opinion/Argument, Information and Narrative Writing, Grades K-8 and the brand new Units of Study in Teaching Reading, Grades K-5. Learn ways to align your reading and writing instruction so that they work in synchronicity, to increase your knowledge around conferring and small group work, and to maximize your use of the learning progressions so that your teaching is responsive and assessment-based.
We will have only a limited number of tickets available to the general public as these days are planned for NYC project schools. See below for the list of available days and check back soon for more information and to purchase your ticket!
